Mine has gotten to the point it will not come on automatically. I have to reset the switch every night for it to come on. Is this a problem with the photocell?

sounds like it might be – or the switch is no good. They don’t have a long life in many cases – unforunately. You could ask at the place where you bought them – if they are reasonably new there may be a warranty.
