Hello, I bought solar power lights for garden for the first time. I don’t really know how these work. 1. How do we have to change batteries in the lights? ( I had no idea they needed batteries. I am worried if they spend so much energy that I have to spend a lot of money on buying batteries. I bought these lights for saving money.) 2. What is the best way to save batteries in? (I turned the room lights on and off so many times in order to see whether the solar power lights work or not. Will it affect the batteries in a bad way?) Thank you very much for your time. Have a great day!

My solar power lights take rechargeable batteries. It’s hard to say how often you’ll have to replace them. I replace mine, once a year. The solar power (sun) keeps the batteries charged so you’ll have light at night in your garden. When a lamp no longer works, it’s time to replace the light bulb. I have to change my light bulbs more often than the batteries. (all lamps are different) If it still doesn’t work, replace the battery. The sun is what keeps the battery recharged until the battery can no longer hold it. Copy down the number of the light bulb, so when you need to buy more, you’ll have the right ones. That number should be on the box the lamps came in. Save the package the bulbs come in, & take it with you when you buy more in the future. By now, the lamps are in the garden & you’re not still testing them inside the house because you’re using battery power.
